Interim Program Overview:
Strategy is now more important than ever.   But strategy is no longer purely a competitive process in competitive markets.  Companies must learn to master private markets as well as manage their relationships with governments.

Globalization, the emergence of Asia as the new industrial powerhouse, new technologies, rapid changes in competitive positions, and the powerful hand of government is generating enormous opportunities and huge threats.   This program will give managers skills and frameworks to recognize such opportunities, and insights to develop successful market and non-market strategies.

To help turn today’s managers into tomorrow’s leaders, this program will be comprised of modules on industry analysis, competitive positioning, competitive advantage, non-market strategies, competitor analysis, turnaround management, and global strategy.

It will include case studies of high-performance global firms, rising stars in Asia, and exciting new businesses from the large, mature markets. Case discussions will be supplemented by background readings, interactive lectures, discussions and videos of case CEOs. The goal of the program is to help participants learn how to formulate creative strategy and implement strategic change in a world in which standing still is not a viable option.
